“So you must be Nick…” I said. He looked back up at me.
“Yea… Nick Jonas.” He replied. My eyes widened; almost feeling like they were going to like burst out of my head.

All kinds of extraneous elements are added to the story. The Mayor of Who-ville, voiced by Steve Carell, is a beleaguered dad who has trouble communicating with his son, a moody emo boy named Jo-Jo. The problem with this father-son reconciliation narrative is not that it is un-Seussian — though such intergenerational melodrama almost never figured in Dr. Seuss’s work — but that it’s tired and sentimental.

yea... its sad i know like everything in that movie... CAUSE ITS MY FAVE MOVIE OF ALL TIME AND I WATCHED IT... (uhhh 1, 2, 3...) 7 TIMES! I WATCHED THAT MOVIE 7 TIMES!!!!!

hahaha he has 96 sisters lol. and well he doesnt want to be the mayor of whoville at all, but his dad is pushing him and thinking that jojo wants to be the the next mayor of whoville once Ned retires. but ned was misunderstood. jojo snuck out every night to the observatory because thats the only place where he gets to do things where he can only do them; which is basically creating inventions to make music and creative sounds....
